There is a high coincidence of communication impairments in children with learning disabilities. While speech
difficulties do not often directly interfere with academics, the more hidden language difficulties could cause a
profound learning handicap. Our assessments identify strengths and weaknesses in a wide range of skills, including
listening/comprehension, vocabulary development, and various language processing skills.
Treatment
Intervention is tailored to the individuals needs by enhancing strengths and developing skills that are weak. While
there is no rapid solution for language and learning difficulties, skill building and accommodations (if needed) are
highly effective at producing successful/motivated students over the long term.
