Swallowing difficulties most often occur with adults who have had strokes, but they sometimes occur with children. We provide "bedside" swallowing assessments to identify any difficulties or risks of swallowing. Depending on the condition, we may recommend accommodations and provide treatment. We refer clients for a modified barium swallow assessment when this is needed.
