Non-Reader
An individual over 6 years old with one
or more of the following difficulties is considered
a non reader
- could not distinguish between
a letter and a word
- could not produce the sound
corresponding to each letter of the alphabet
- could not sound out and
put together (blend) a sequence of 3 to 4 letters
- could not read more that
10 sight words
